For web design services we focus primarily on the Portland Metro area - this includes all of the four counties. In Oregon this would be Washington (where we are based), Multnomah, Clackamas, and (in the state of Washington), Clark county.

We can provide hosting and web site analysis for sites for sites in any geographic area. If you want your web site working harder, we can do the analysis for you from our base in Tualatin, Oregon.

If I want your help with a web site, do I need to use your host?

No - we work with many hosts. We can, however, provide hosting and often suggest this for a client for several reasons. We are a reseller for hosting sites that is very reliable and can provide many extra services. For example, if you need a form on your site the support software for this is already in place. Our hosting service also provides a free blog, monitoring, MySQL databases, web analytics, and more at no extra cost.

To a client running for business manager of a union, we provided a polling service with his web site so the union members could give him feedback on issues. He won the election. To a client selling a farm, we used a simple site with lots of pictures. We put the work into positioning the site in the search engines and choose a very simple site design. They sold the farm. Yes. A blog is a web log. You can use it to provide dynamic information on your company - your conferences, exhibitions, new products, and other news. Blogs were used in the George bush election to expose false documents on Bush's military service and tell us where Kerry really was that Christmas Eve during the Viet Nam war. At the present time we provide a blog software free of charge with our hosting service. There are over 19 million blogs out there now. Freedom of the press belongs to whoever owns one. The press is free now. We consider blogs essential to almost any internet service.

This is a very common question. It really depends on that you want to accomplish and what resources you have to commit. You need to budget about $140 for hosting for the first year if you host with us. There is an additional $30 setup charge. This price includes a free domain name.

To develop and design a small web site of 5-6 pages, figure about $3000 - $4000 if we use very little special graphic design or animation. Flash animation would be extra.

To get some search engine positioning work, we charge $350 up for basic search engine optimization for your site. We suggest this if you expect most of your traffic from the search engines. We do not promise a top position in the search engine. Google will tell you no developer can do this. We can also help you purchase advertising in the search engines if you wish. Any competitor telling you something else doesn't know how to do positioning or is not being honest. (We can tell you why if you wish.)
