If you are using Google’s WebAcclerator, the good news is that this speeds up the loading of your web pages. The bad news, however, is that you are telling Google the web sites you visit, how often you visit them, how long you visit them, when you visit them, the links you click, and the searches you perform. It’s a little more dangerous than that – The Accelerator can trap every click you make. Since Google now spiders secure sites (https:), it is possible for Google to get passwords, credit card numbers, and other private information.
For now, we caution users not to use the Google WebAccelerator.
